In a notion to seal the pastels in, I foolishly began to drizzle gel medium on the piece thinking the gel would just sort of sit nicely on top of the pastel and then glue it all down once it was gingerly spread across the panel. That did happen. I would show you what did happen but it is somewhat obscene. If the piece is salvageable it will be reworked and then update on its recovery shall become available. Plan B is to re-do the whole thing over.
